About 2025 OCC Collection Center

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) fills shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, etc. and sends them all over the world to kids in need. Each box also includes "The Greatest Journey," which is an explanation of the Gospel and an invitation for the kids to follow Jesus. Click here to watch a video explaining more about OCC.

There are two main ways you can participate this year as an individual or as a group:

Pack a box
Paper and plastic boxes will be available for free at the OCC table in the lobby each Sunday morning.
Serve at the Collection Center
Sierra Bible Church is the Central Collection Center for Northern Nevada and the Eastern Sierras. That means every shoebox in this area will come through our doors during National Collection Week (November 17-24, 2025) and will need to be checked, packed into bigger boxes, and loaded onto semi trucks for transportation. This is a big undertaking and requires a lot of help. Please join this group if you would like to volunteer during Collection Week.
